Senior Accountant
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Preparing and reviewing accounts, tax returns, and management reports
- Providing commercial and financial advice to clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Identifying opportunities to improve services and processes
- Contributing to business development and growth initiatives
- Playing a key role in the future success of the firm
What we’re looking for:
- ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong accounting and tax knowledge
- Experience managing client relationships
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Ambition to grow professionally and help grow a business
Payroll & Bookkeeping
What you’ll be doing:
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls
- Managing payroll records and HMRC submissions
- Maintaining bookkeeping records using cloud accounting software
- Bank reconciliations and VAT preparation
- Supporting clients and colleagues with day-to-day accounting queries
- Helping to deliver an excellent service to our growing client base
What we’re looking for:
- Previous payroll and bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar software
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
